Swedish Carolina School is a Swedish Culture Club which works to keep the Swedish language and traditions alive for Swedish speaking children living in the Greensboro area. We support the children's existing knowledge in writing, reading and speaking Swedish, along with giving them knowledge about Swedish history, literature and geography.
Children 6-16 years who speak Swedish and have at least one parent who is Swedish are welcome to attend Swedish School. We meet once a week on Wednesdays from 5:30-7:00 pm in Jamestown Public Library in downtown Jamestown.
Swedish Carolina School also holds a traditional Lucia celebration every year in December at Volvo Communication Center.
